Why Rich People Care About Money The Most?

On this modern age, money is everything. It is the root… the blood… the legacy of people with their hard earned jobs and toiled labor.

But most people do not realize the reality that “money” is NOT the reason for a person to be happy let alone SUCCESS. Most people may claim that they can prosper and be happy with money (I assure you that it’s not the case). However, it only takes one mistake of a lifetime to destroy happiness coming from money. Failures, mishaps, unfortunate events…etc. could damage your savings let alone your capacity to earn money – so we shouldn’t rely on MONEY to be happy, nor use it as license to weight the worth of people.

But the problem within our modern society is that, “MONEY is now the measurement of one’s weight and being.”

Forget about education, dreams, aspirations, or goals in life – nobody cares nowadays about how you are happy, but how you are making MONEY. Sad but it is TRUE.

That’s why you have a lot of people with degrees but without happiness, rich people but with broken families, affluent and educated kids with problems in life including suicide, depression, and alcoholism. Its root? Reliance to MONEY as a POWER.

Though, that is the reality most people think – it is however, imperative that a person should not look at money this way. It does not only sway you to be a desperate person trying to prove your worth in life, but you start looking like a pompous person who only cares about physical and financial attributes. And if money can’t be achieved… you’ll start feeling the gloom within your life (yikes!)

Truth be told, even if you have achieved money or success in life, if people will not look at you in a good way, then you also lose in the REPUTATION department – you’ll only look foolish, making an ass out of yourself for making other people look bad. Then, you’ll only feel incomplete and lacking as the people behind you think that you are not a person within their reach. There’s a virtue on this…

If you read my book “Polymath’s Profit” – there is a proper way to use money in order to be received well by people. Start by being generous, give compliments to people, and help them enjoy the benefits of your success by sharing your aptitude, talent, or even money to them. It does not only give you good rapport but also the “love and support” of the people within your circle – giving you a much needed power, REPUTATION.

This however, was not understood by most entitled rich people who only became rich from  other people’s influence or from their parent’s hardwork. That is not richness per se, that was just hubris made by people who thought luck was the root of success – this is NOT SO.

Talent is the root of success, money is the result of success – not the other way around. People spend so much time giving MONEY reputation while they forget that money has nothing to do within a person’s talent to succeed. But of course, though it is a commodity, it is however, not a requirement.

You can see a successful person miles away, LOVED BY PEOPLE, ADMIRED BY MANY… but the person who only shows money, is always lacking and wanting to affirm themselves to other people – an admiration they will have a hard time to achieve. Nobody likes a person with hubris, more so a person whose only quality is MONEY.

If you want to be successful in LIFE, use your money to create connections and relationships… do not destroy your reputation by using money as a collective power for belittling people – you do not know who has the capability to turn your life around, and if this is NOT TRUE, then Politics would not have mattered with reputation than money. We have a saying “If you want to destroy a person, you can’t do that with money, but by their own reputation”
